searchin4spirits has been doing a on-going investigation at a old dairy farm in Hartford Maine.  The farm has been a very interesting place for our group.  The owner has been doing alot of renovations in the home and as paranormal investigators we know that this can stir up activity, the farm has not let us down.

A Little History of the Farm

The farm was built in the 1850's.  The House belonged to the Bisbee family.

Dr. Maxim, who was the first educated doctor in the area married one of Mr. Bisbee.s daughters after her husband passed away.  Dr. Maxim moved is medical practice to the house.

Dr. Maxim and his wife had children together and also Dr. Maxim had children from his first wife also.  The home was full of childrens laughter. 

The doctor had his practice in the home.  He performed surgery, delivered babies and even did dentistry in the home. 

The home stayed in the Bisbee/Maxim family until the middle of the 20th century.  Then it was sold to a Reverend who had it till it was sold to the current owner

We have visited the farm 4 times now and each time it has been exciting.  We have heard voices, seen aparitions, and one member was scratched.    We have EVP's of footsteps, and alittle girl saying "Time to play" ( we believe the little girl could be the Bisbee's granddaughter Winnie)  We also have pictures of mists.   We also got pictures of shadows in rooms where we couldnt explain why.

We are getting more photos together for the site and also hope to have the EVP's on the site soon.  Please check back to hear more about the farm as we are planning a visit to the farm again soon but this time the owner has invited us to spend the night.  Hopefully the spirits in the house will be active then so we will be able to show all our faithful visitors more evidence.
